About

Six Pints Farm was started in 2018 by myself, Ron Schalck, with the help of my wife and 6 children. We grow about 3 acres of produce, herbs, flowers, fruits, pumpkins and gourds. We grow about 50 different vegetables and 275 varieties.

I have always had an interest in agriculture, especially the growing of vegetables. I helped my grandfather from a young age with his couple acres of vegetables, then in my teenage years into my twenties (8 years) I worked on an 18-acre organic vegetable farm selling at a roadside stand and several markets including the largest in the state (Union Square Market in NYC).

We are a small family farm using sustainable practices and no chemicals to grow our vegetables. All the seeds we buy are organic, non-treated and non-GMOs.

You can also find our produce at our veggie shed at 2952 State Route 96 Waterloo everyday June – November, Auburn farmers Co-op market at 96 State Street on Saturdays June – October 7am-2pm, Syracuse Regional Market 2100 Park Street Saturdays November – December 7am –1pm.
